Trinity's White Elephant Sale

Today is the last day of Trinity Church's Annual White Elephant Sale. For those of you that have been, well you know you,Aeod better scurry down there. For those of you that haven't,AeP.well, you,Aeod better scurry down as well. The church's maze-like basement awaits you, its many rooms stacked to the rafters with bargains and goodies galore.
You will find rooms dedicated to furniture, clothing, books, toys, kitchenware, holiday trimmings, electronics, and pretty much anything else that you can imagine. The weather is supposed to be a little chilly, so for you avid garage-sale devotees, this is a fabulous alternative to braving freezing temperatures while riffling through boxes on someone's driveway.
Last year, I was very fortunate to find a solid wood antique mission-style dining room table for only $50. Sure it has a small amount of wear, but that's part of its charm. For me, half of its worth is tied to the satisfaction of knowing I found a treasure at a brilliant price.
Don't miss out.

They are presenting a memorial exhibit entitled “Ode to …
Vincent Gallo, he of Buffalo 66 and The Brown Bunny, will be at Soundlab on September 25th with his band, RRIICCEE.

As for his music, here is an excerpt from Radford's take on Gallo: This is not experimental music made for the sake of experimentation. As Gallo explains, improvisation is …
