Tree Fund/Planting Update
Planting Update: The trees planted in 2002 are doing well. That year, in an effort to replace the leaf canopy over Linwood Avenue, Northern Red Oaks, Hybrid Frontier Elms, and Japanese Zelkova were planted. Ruby Red Horsechestnut trees were placed along Millard Fillmore Hospital buildings. This year, our goal is to plant about 50 trees on Rhode Island Street, and about 50 trees on the side streets of Linwood, from Delaware Avenue to Main Street. The party (Saturday, May 21 @ One Symphony Circle btwn 6-11pm) has something for everyone - an acoustic trio, local restaurant selections, and a tour of the beautiful First Presbyterian Church. -Joe O'Gorman
