The 26th Annual International Food Fair

One of the functions that Dave Smith (photo), a member of St. John's-Grace Episcopal Church, was promoting was an upcoming international food fare. I've heard a lot about this event, and even though I am not the most church-going citizen, I am going to try my hardest to make it to food fair this year. Now that I think about it, I've always wanted to get inside that beautiful church and this is the perfect opportunity. My dad tells me that interior of the church is very intriguing. And I'm sure that the food is going to be just as good. From Dave Smith:
"The 26th Annual International Food Fair is being held at St. John's-Grace this Saturday, September 20th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Among the various ethnicities represented are Polish, Italian, and Indian, along with many American favorites. There will also be a Country Store with jams, sauces, and various kitchen accessories for sale. Hope to see you there!"

Though it’s always hockey season here in Buffalo, winter brings an added glee to the sport – it’s the season the sport was created in. Since the sport was created in the cold of winter, it seems it gains a bit more attention when the temperature begins to drop. Not only does hockey take an added shine, but ice skating in general gets a peak in interest. People want to take their sweetheart to the rink – indoor or outdoor – have those time honored smiles and laughs as the …

If I'm not mistaken, Dave is the super-docent who led an awesome tour I took of the Darwin-Martin House in 2006.
