Patio Alert!

There are two new patios in town, that just happen to be at two great places to eat and drink in the city. Betty's on Virginia has built a wrap around patio replete with flower boxes, a beautiful garden, and patio umbrellas. Whether you are there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this beautiful corner enclave offers an expansive view out onto the surrounding peaceful neighborhood. Betty's is one of the Buffalo's best new eateries. The roast chicken salad sandwhich is a great lunch choice, as is the Love Sandwich for breakfast. Betty's is now serving beer and wine as well.
Just around the corner on Delaware you will find Prespa. The owner just built a cozy streetside patio which overlooks the avenue onto a few of the most incredible houses/mansions in the city. Prespa serves up fantastic panini sandwiches as well as gourmet pizzas and crepes. The wasabi roast beef panini comes highly recommended at this hip lounge...as does the Chamay Rouge beer. If you have not had the opportunity to stop into either of these relatively new bistro/lounges, then I can only hope that the new patio installations will motivate you to check them out. Betty's is located @ 370 Virginia (362-0633) and Prespa is located at 439 Delaware (842-2255.)

As the fourth annual festival, this year promises to be a big event. There will be a beer tent and food vendors and this year the gallery to the CMC will be open. The gal …
There are some people who dabble in the game of chess, and then there are those who live the game. I've been reading about a few different chess clubs in Buffalo, but not being an avid player I'm not sure which ones are best for different levels of play. Some of the tournament play that I have heard about is only to be left to the experts. That's why I finally decided to post on a beginners series in August that takes place at the Main Place Mall.
The Archangel 8 Chess Academy is …

The owner of the American rights to Shark Energy Drink started his first entrepreneurial venture long ago, at the age of 13, and with the exception of a few glitches that furthered his business sense, he has soared upward ever since.

John, Sr. the day after the decision. Nearly two weeks later, gambling continues in the temporary facility and work on the permanent casino is proceeding.
