Mother/Daughter Afternoon Tea!
I've been hearing about this event for a few years now and have always thought that this was a great way for mothers and daughters to spend some quality time together... tea time that is. Leave it to the Historical Society to arrange this one. If you know of any mom and daughter cohorts who you think would like to share in this afternoon tea totaling, please pass this post along to them. Afternoon Tea takes place Sunday, October 15. 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. at the Museum, 25 Nottingham Court. $20 BECHS members, $23 public. Reservations are required at 873-9644 ext.317. Are you looking for a special Mother/Daughter treat or an outing with a close friend? Do you enjoy the ritual of beautifully prepared and lovingly served tea and traditional treats? Then join us for a floral-themed afternoon tea featuring three courses of fresh-brewed tea, scones, sandwiches, and sweets and then enjoy a stroll through That Bloomini Exhibit displaying the gracious gowns and tableware of gentler times. Daniels Brings Exhibit To Buffalo
Back in April, Melanie Majewski submitted a wonderful article on Errol Daniels. In it, she goes in to great detail about the artist’s background and photographs. The 10th Street Community Garden project of Patrick Cain says farewell to Summer with an outdoor art opening event this Saturday, September 6.
