Catch The Bisons On Your Couch

The teaming up of the two was announced Monday, June 30. Ten Buffalo Bisons home games will be aired live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Channel 13. The lineup of games available on your television will begin on July 3 with a game against the Rochester Red Wings at 6PM.
After the games have been aired live, they will be available for fans anytime on the WNY On-Demand Channel 997.
Of course, whether your at Dunn Tire Park or watching on your television, a Bisons game wouldn't be complete without Ben Wagner and Duke McGuire. All games played at Dunn Tire Park will include play-by-play from "The Voice of the Bisons," Wagner and commentary by McGuire.
We won't know until the first game is aired on July 3, but it seems like this will be a convenient and relaxing way to catch a Bisons game. However, it's obvious that nothing compares to going to Dunn Tire Park to watch a game. Tickets for games are available by clicking here, get off your couch for at least one game!
Speaking of tickets, Brad Bisbing, Director of Public Relations for the Buffalo Bisons said, "Having the games available to fans from the comfort of their home does not have the Bisons concerned about decreasing ticket sales. If anything, it can only be beneficial to ticket sales with more exposure and a chance for fans to watch out of town games they may have other wise missed."
It's uncertain whether the Bisons games will continue to be aired live on television in the future, but the Buffalo Bisons are glad to be partnering with Time Warner Cable and look forward to working with them in the future," said Bisbing. So, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
The remainder of the Bisons Games available on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Channel 13 is as follows:
July 6 - Syracuse - 7PM
July 11- Louisville - 7:30PM
July 18 - Richmond - 7:30PM

This summer, we took a walk through the Commercial Slip with Keith Helmetag, a partner with C&G Partners LLC, principal designers of the exhibits and site graphics. Helmetag was concerned with public approval for what was there, in reference to moving forward with more designs.
At this point the Erie County Harbor and Development Corporation (ECHDC) is looking into putting up some additional exhibits and the following are the stories/themes being considered:

Delaware Park by Hoyt Lake went upside-down funky yesterday when these break dancers showed up, turned up the groove and got down on their linoleum square at the top of the steps.
They've been trying out a few names lately: Omega Steps, DFC (Differential Flavors Crew), but what they say they are is Buffalo's premier breakdance group. We talked to Ted Krzykowski (green shirt), who came here a year ago from Syracuse in order to dance with Lehrer Dance, a new local dance company. …
Suit-clad and smiling, Donn Esmonde may appear to be your average Buffalonian. But if you’ve ever read his column in The Buffalo News, you can understand that maybe he isn’t so typical after all.
In 1982, Donn Esmonde moved to Buffalo, for the same reason that most young professionals move—for a job. Having worked as a sports writer in Poughkeepsie, New York, Esmonde was out for a better paying job at a bigger paper. “I was incredibly struck by the sense of community in …
Saturday I enjoyed spending time with some fine Buffalo folks, and took part in a popular October ritual: drinking Pumpkin Spice Latte at Caffé Aroma. But while sipping and watching the life on Elmwood, things suddenly got weird and we found ourselves watching the unlife.
Covered with blood, gore, and gashes, dozens of moaning zombies began shuffling past. What could be responsible for the sudden zombie invasion, we wondered. Sunspots? A disease? The financial meltdown (one …

It's about time, i never understood why Bison games weren't televised. Since the 80's I've been a Mets fan because I was able to watch games on wor now they play on sny. Needless to say I'm a much larger Mets fan than Bisons fan because I can actually follow them. I've been to 3 games at Shea and 0 at Dunn Tire park this year.
