Buffalonians supported today's AIDS Walk
Today's AIDS Walk was a 3-mile pledge-walk-a-thon that began at HOYT Lake and continued down Elmwood Avenue through the "Forever Elmwood" business district. The Walk returned on the other side of Elmwood giving all of the local business owners a chance to make an impression on hundreds of donors and supporters. As if Elmwood was not bustling as it was! If you know anything about Buffalo, then you know that the citizens here show their support (time and time again) for the hundreds of groups and organizations that are here to help improve the quality of life of those less fortunate or in need of special services.

City Hall Observations
Just a day after getting lambasted by Donn Esmonde, City Hall has announced that there is going to be a $20,000 overhaul conducted on its Observation Deck and the surrounding area. According to The Mayor, the news article and the announcement were simply ironic, and the improvements were scheduled to take place regardless. Whatever prompted the action to take place, it’s good news for anyone who takes the time to visit the architectural masterpiece.
