Billy Joel Coming To The HSBC Arena
Spend an evening with Billy Joel as his latest tour makes a stop at HSBC Arena, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 8pm. Selling in excess of 100 million records worldwide, Billy Joel emerged as one of the most talented musicians and accomplished songwriters through his unique style of rock and roll with the flair of Broadway. The six-time Grammy Award winner is one of the few artists to continuously have Top 10 hits spanning over three decades.
Joel was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for such hits as "New York State of Mind", "It's Still Rock & Roll To Me", "Uptown Girl", "We Didn't Start The Fire", "Only the Good Die Young", and "Piano Man".
Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 9AM. Tickets are $51 and $86.50, price includes $1.50 facility fee. There will be a random handbill policy in effect. HANDBILLS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. Though it may only be the fifth time since 1992 that the Albright-Knox Art Galley has increased its admission rate, the higher fee speaks to the changing face of our society and economy. To keep the gallery in good financial health, it is necessary to increase the price of a regular adult admission ticket from $10 up to $12. The new price will go into effect on January 1st 2009.
