- Redevelopment of Buffalo - adaptive re-use of historic buildings, community re-development, public-private partnerships. Obtaining and retaining a niche industry for Buffalo - Economic development and revitilization, paired with an international public relations campaign on behalf of the Queen City. More emphasis on job creation downtown - not just in Amherst. Expanding the current public transportation system to include the waterfront, airport, UB-Amherst campus, and, eventually, suburbs (Denver is planning a similar project) - connecting downtown Buffalo to Amtrak line to increase transportation ease/alternatives with Toronto, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, etc.
