Kick WIlliams at Broadway Joe's Tonight

Gabrielle Bouliane

Well, in case we didn't just give you enough to do tonight, here's an 18+ show (hey, does that mean college is back in session?) from Kick Willliams, being fronted by special guests BWT, The Indefinite Article (From Boston, MA), and Letters to Mabel.

Their latest effort to date, "Distance and Truth" takes its listeners on a four-song journey through love, lust, and betrayal, and carries with it the catchy melodies and driving feel we've come to love. Kick Williams promises that they have plenty of new material they are going to debut, as well as some rare material and crowd pleasers that haven't been played in over a year.

The Jets make the ideal opponent for this weekendis reunion, which also honors the 1981 Bills, who reached the playoffs with a nearly identical lineup, if less flair than their immediate predecessors. Theyire from The Big City, which means they always get plenty of national attention, often more than they deserve. And theyire rarely very good. If this were high school football, the Jets would be the team you try to schedule for homecoming every year.

Gang Green has been building the self-esteem of Buffalo teams for decades.

On my way to a meeting at Cafe 59 this morning I passed Harold's Curiosity Shoppe located at 85 Allen. On this particular morning my eye spotted a green Aemes chair in the front window, so I popped in to ask the shop's owner a few questions. The owner, Harold, showed me around his double-store antique/curiosity showroom, while pointing out all of the var…

Tuesday's ribbon cutting at the Granite Works offered me the opportunity to touch base with Ben Obletz of First Amherst Development.
