Scion Sets Up On Elmwood

queenseyes

We've seen the Cobblestone District turned into a racetrack in order to test out car tires. Now we see an Elmwood parking lot turned into a driver's test site. That's right, during the course of the year, Scion auto manufacturer sets up in the parking lot next to Globe Market so people can test-drive the latest Scion models. Not only that, Scion sets up a road-show to go along with the cars…

Kissling Interestsi plan to buy and renovate the Calumet Building at 54 W. Chippewa fell apart in April, but what the developer had in mind can be found on the Tommaso Briatico Architects website. Kissling had envisioned a project that would have seen the building's second and third floors renovated and a four-story addition constructed to contain residential units. Let's just say they're not going to start printing those playoff tickets yet.

Buffalo's loss in Sunday's home opener against the New York Jets had its galling moments. Did they really think anyone was going to be fooled by that fake field goal? Losman a towel to dry his hands on before that last-ditch series?

Along with the hair-pulling, teeth-gnashing moments, Sunday also provided some glimmers of hope for the…

India Gate... of course!

Sometimes some of the best dinners in Buffalo are right under your nose. Take, for example, India Gate Restaurant. It had been a while since I had eaten at this Elmwood staple, so when a friend of mine suggested it I immediately told her that I would meet her there for dinner. Indian food is still a bit of a mystery to me, so it was nice to know that…

The stage was set; it was our home opener against a division rival. The 12th man was out in full force and we started off strong, but in the end could not finish. It sounds like a recap of a Bills game from last year but unfortunately that isnit the case. We had everything going for us, and then we handed the game away to the Jets in our house.

If one were to look at stats it would be hard to imagine a loss for the Bills. We dominated in most aspects of the game. J.P. had a career day (minus the turnovers) and Willis had an amazing game as he usually does against the Jets. However, one key block he missed mi…
