The Freudig Singers of Western New York will celebrate their 25th season of joyful music-making with “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue” beginning in October with “Something Old,” an eclectic program of sacred, secular and bawdy music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and beyond. Under the direction of Roland E. Martin, the Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County’s Outstanding Individual Artist of 2008, the professional-calibre chamber choir will then serve up their famous “Christmas Pie” with carols “borrowed” from other countries, toast their anniversary in March with two world premieres and end with a tribute to the “Blues” that will leave you crying for more.
Something Borrowed is our famous Christmas Pie program with the Buffalo Seminary Glee Club. It features seasonal music from around the world followed by a free "Pie Reception."
