Hospice Memorial Walk (Back to events)

Bring the family, bring your sunscreen and celebrate the 12th year of walks to benefit Hospice! It's perfect day for friends, family and loved ones to tour Buffalo’s scenic waterfront and historic downtown.

The 3-mile Hospice Memorial Walk will begin at Erie Basin Marina at 11AM and proceed through Buffalo’s historic waterfront district. A one-mile shortened version of the Walk has been mapped out for people with wheelchairs and baby strollers. Afterwards, Wegmans invites walkers to a picnic with games, prizes, face painting, a bounce house, sports team mascots and prizes!

Stuttering Support Group

If you stutter, you are not alone. The National Stuttering Association has had a local chapter in Buffalo since 1994, meeting twice a month and hosting a monthly social. Meetings are now held in Room 280 on the University at Buffalo Amherst Campus starting at 7:00 pm. Dates for the next meetings are September 3 and 17, and October 1 and 15.
