I had heard that there was something going into the former Fleet Feet building that was going to be really good for The Elmwood Village. I was told that it was not going to be retail, but would be a big asset. Up until today I was tossing out every idea I could think of, but nothing would stick and nobody was talking. Then I stopped into Sam Hoyt's campaign office and saw workers taping off the interior schematic for whatever was coming. It was an unusual layout - definitely not retail... very disjointed and broken up with small offices and passageways.
It turns out that the former Fleet Feet retail space is now destined to be a dentist office. Not what I expected, but as we all know from the Fleet Feet store, the location is not the most retail friendly spot around. So the mystery has been solved and we can cross another empty building off of the Elmwood 'vacancy' list.
