Though it may be a little tricky with Buffalo Homecoming this weekend, if you have the chance, head on over to the Central Terminal for their Wine Fest this Saturday, June 28th from 12 till 5 PM. Wineries from across the state will offer samples of their wine. Tickets are just $25 at the door or $20 pre-sale here.
The Wine Fest focuses on great wine, but there will be other activities to enjoy while you wet your whistle. There will be plenty of food vendors around to grab some grub and a farmer’s market, which will provide great local and fresh alternatives. Besides the local produce, there will also be products like blended teas, jams, and honey. There will be raffles and a Chinese auction, which features a grand prize of two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines.
Admission is 21 and over only, since the event is showcasing an alcoholic beverage. The Mark Filsinger Trio will perform throughout the event, providing a jaunty background to the affair. As always, all proceeds will benefit the preservation and restoration of the Buffalo Central Terminal. The event is held rain or shine and will be housed inside the Central Terminal itself.
