Today's AIDS Walk was a 3-mile pledge-walk-a-thon that began at HOYT Lake and continued down Elmwood Avenue through the "Forever Elmwood" business district. The Walk returned on the other side of Elmwood giving all of the local business owners a chance to make an impression on hundreds of donors and supporters. As if Elmwood was not bustling as it was! If you know anything about Buffalo, then you know that the citizens here show their support (time and time again) for the hundreds of groups and organizations that are here to help improve the quality of life of those less fortunate or in need of special services.
