I have really mixed feelings about Carl Paladino. On the one hand, I recognize that he's very bright, has a good heart, and works ceaselessly for the things in which he believes. HOWEVER, at the same time, he comes across as pretty arrogant, self-assuming, hot-headed, and fairly insensitive to anyone outside of his circle of cronies (like people of color and women) and LOVES a good fight for no reason in particular. At times, his negatives outweigh his positives and vice versa depending on what his latest cause is. I am really urging him to try to take some time to see the world from the perspective of people with whom he disagrees. If he wants to run around changing things like the lone ranger, then he should just hang it up, keep his mouth shut, and focus exclusively on his business. If he truly wants to change things, I think he needs to grow up a little, take a deep breath, learn some communication and diplomacy skills and work to make Buffalo a better place. Until he does that, it's REALLY difficult for me to take him seriously and wonder why anyone cares what he thinks.

longer interviews with paladino on this site before. check previous videos. this seems like a light-hearted interview attempting to reveal some personality.

maybe sb16, gosabres22 and allthingsbuffalo can interview one another to their heart's contents. probe each other all night, i say. until then, just enjoy finding out what kind of wings paladino eats.

If Carl Paladino feels such a strong sense of frustration in moving positive things forward politically, what is the lesson for Buffalonians that do not possess anything close to his economic or political clout? What is the lesson in his cynical views?Mr Paladino's controversial views and industrous pursuit of his vision for economic development are powerful statements of his commitment to Buffalo's transformation - but where is his solidarity with those who love his city and fight for the preservation of its most unique and threatened values. Perhaps he is a strong ally or focused on his own perspective and initiatives, but he is a voice that matters. His legacy is open to debate, but I believe incomplete. If Mr Paladino will lend some of his passion to a holistic vision for our sustainable development, I believe that we will all benefit. Luke Easter, I hear you.

    Q. How many time did you go in front of the preservation board to knowck down the Webb Building? A. 10 but that doesn;t matter, we have a parking CRISIS here in downtown Buffalo! We need to TRIPLE our surface lots by 2010 to keep up with the demand of all the communters who don't have to pay 50 cents to enter the city anymore!!!!
