The architectural firm Carmina Wood Morris PC is proud to be part of the design team and the overall effort to revitalize this great historic building in the Cobblestone District.

As with all renovation projects, this one has not been without it's surprizes - both good and bad. However, the final results, both interior and exterior, are extraordinary as compared to what it was originally. We hope that Mr. Madia, President of N&H and his staff enjoy their brand new work environment, and we thank them for holding their ground and continuing to be part of the CIty of Buffalo.

Special Thanks to Lamparelli Construction, JW Danforth and Ferguson Electric for their dilligence in getting this project completed during the winter months and in a short schedule set forth by the Owner.

Sound like a successful and novel group. Perfect example of how local economy does not need to interfere with one's earning potential.

Work and think outside the box and bring the money home to where the qulaity of life and cost of living is much better.

The building looks great- it projects a sense of history and might. Good riddance to the awnings.

The fine folks at Nicholson & Hall have been an anchor in the district for decades, and have stuck it out there through good times and bad. Located there originally to service the "winter fleet" of lake vessels that would harbor nearby in the Buffalo River during the close of shipping on the lakes, their presence is a reminder of Buffalo's waterfront heritage - and that there is still plenty of good industrial muscle left in Buffalo's economy. They're also good neighbors in the best tradition - occasionally pitching in to plow nearby streets with their own equipment, and supporting the amazing effort by preservationists to re-lay the eponymous cobblestone pavers throughout the district. If the second photo had been taken with a slightly wider field, you'd be able to see the Buffalo which the company proudly sports on the peak of their roof, as a symbol of hometown pride.

Having done consulting projects for N&H from time to time really got me introduced to Buffalo and what Your Fair City has to offer. Their execs have introduced me to some of the best spots for Buffalo eats, such as Chef's, DiTondo's, and Schwabl's.

In my humble opinion, tenacious, adaptive, and excellent companies like Nicholson & Hall - and their people - represent true Buffalo at her finest!
