Hey maybe we could even plan a once a year indie artist show where all of the Toronto/Rochester/Pittsburgh/Cleveland artists are invited down to participate.

I attended the art show in the park at last years "Queen Street West Art Crawl" in Toronto, an art show with hundreds of artists featuring some amazing art.

This opened my eyes to what an "real" art show should be, versus the sorry excuses for "art shows" we get here in Buffalo.

I can only take so many watercolor landscapes, wind chimes and mass produced metal lawn creatures. The AAA is the traveling circus of Art shows with the Elmwood Art Show not being much different.

Great Idea Mary - Does anyone know if the Elmwood Farmers Market would be interested in sharing the parkway with an artist market in the summer? That seems like it could be a great match and create an even bigger draw - and there is plenty of space for this type of thing!
