Parks and Trails of NY (PTNY), organized a supported bicycle ride from Buffalo to Albany. Riders will mass on July 5th and will start from Nichols School on Amherst street on July 6th. 400+ riders will participate. The objective of PTNY is to provide economic gain for those communities along the canal path by exposing travelers to the canal's history and beauty.

Participants come from all across the state and from states as far away as Alaska. Most have a chance to experience Buffalo on Saturday the 5th. Local guided bicycle tours available on Saturday including a tour of Buffalo and a circuit to Niagara Falls.
