The Melvins, a band from the Seattle area, will be here to knock your socks off on October 6th. Showplace is the venue, and a very appropriate one at that.
The Melvins heavily influenced the Seattle grunge sound, and often sat in with many of the eras most popular bands. Kurt Cobain, one of their former roadies, helped them get a contract w…

Owner, Joan Miller, opened her business to showcase a variety of hard-to-find merchandise that represents the city in which we live. It seemed the only items of clo…

Ok, Look at the poster.
Seriously. Then realize that this band describes themselves as "Bill Haley vs The Count Five vs The Troggs vs the Velvet Underground vs Donovan in a cage death match at a meth lab..."
Are you kidding? Where else would you be?
The Klaws are part of a long tradition of Buffalo surf-punk bands, and one of the best, so if you haven't gotten your fill of black leather, hawaiian shirts and twang lately, go get your dose. It'll keep the heat in those cool fall nights and validate your hipster card for another year, minimally..
