When veteran lighting designer Brian Cavanagh noticed 12 Angry Men on the Kavinoky Theatre’s schedule for this year, he called Artistic Director David Lamb to see if they had decided on a director. In all of the recent discussions about the physical and aesthetic shortcomings of the existing convention center, one key player’s voice has been conspicuously absent, that of Paul Murphy, Executive Director of the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
