Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.

A roofless shell of a building is in line for significant improvements to provide additional light industrial space in the Northland Corridor.  The Buffalo Urban Development Corporation is seeking to redevelop 547 East Delevan Street, the ‘Eastern Plant Addition’ of the former Houdaille Engineering Co. complex. The final look for an expanded office building on Main Street is coming into focus.  Uniland Development is expanding a two-story building at 899 Main Street by one floor for BestSelf Behavioral Health’s new corporate headquarters. Uniland purchased the Main Street building from Excellus Health Plan Inc. in March 2019 for $4.335 million. A Rockville Centre developer has plans to convert 505 Pearl Street into apartments.  Third Nature Capital is working with CJS Architects on the project.  Preliminary plans call for 53 apartments and commercial space. The last piece of the The Krog Corps’ Trico redevelopment is underway with steel being installed for a three-level addition that will bridge the entrance to the courtyard carved into the complex along Ellicott Street.  The new construction will connect to the fourth through seventh floors.
