Three down, 33 more to go. The first sales at The Glenny have closed in recent weeks. HUNT Real Estate ERA is selling the condominiums in the historic building located at 251 Main Street. The first unit closed on March 22, an 820 sq.ft., one bedroom, one bath unit that sold for $182,500. Two additional units have closed: one for $182,250 and another for $268,650 that features 1,194 sq.ft. of living space and loft.
The building has both one and two-bedroom units, each boasting expansive living spaces, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a host of other premium features. Prices start in the $160,000s.
Priam Enterprises renovated the ornate five-story, circa-1873 building in 2016. It is the only five-story building in Buffalo with a cast iron façade. One-quarter of the building’s 36 units are two-story residences featuring open living rooms and large loft spaces that function either as a bedroom or a large second living space.
The Glenny was the first of three building redevelopment projects by Priam Enterprises on lower Main Street. Priam also owns the adjacent Roblin Building and the Marine Trust Building at Main and Seneca, rechristened The Marin. The company also owns the nearby Pearl Street Garage at 93 Pearl Street that provides parking for the properties and the historic Dun Building.
