Sinatra & Company Real Estate has purchased another chunk of the Theater District. Sinatra’s Market Arcade Group LLC bought 625 Main Street from the Buffalo Economic Renaissance Corporation (BERC) yesterday for $600,000.
625 Main Street is anchored by the Irish Classical Theater and ten upper floor apartments. The publicly-funded redevelopment project opened in 1999 and involved new construction behind three saved facades including one that was trimmed from four to three floors after an arsonist torched the building (below).
Sinatra & Company Real Estate purchased the adjacent Market Arcade complex from BERC in September 2014 for $1.4 million. The development company has invested in substantial upgrades to the complex and will soon open Expo Market in the former YaYa Brewery space at 617 Main Street.
