Ellicott Development’s $75 million proposal for the Buffalo Christian Center site is coming into focus. Buffalo Business First’s Jim Fink just tweeted the rendering for the project that has been designed by Kideney Architects:
The Planning Board approved the project today and is expected to start early next year. Ellicott’s plan calls for a new 12-story building along Franklin Street that will include a six-level, 350 car parking ramp.
A 109-room hotel will anchor the project that will also include 28 apartments, 30,000 sq.ft. of commercial space, and a restaurant. Road Less Traveled Productions, which occupies the Forbes Theater inside the building, will remain.
329 Franklin (southeast corner of Franklin and W. Tupper) owned by Sinatra & Company Realty would be demolished (below).
Ellicott Development’s Pearl Group LLC purchased the property (Buffalo Christian Center) in September 2014 for $2.525 million.
