If there was ever a Buffalo picture that says a thousand words, this would have to be it. The image represents a rekindled city spirit that we have not had for decades. For what seems like an eternity, we have been talking about different ways to celebrate winter, and finally we are making some serious progress. Between the Ice Bikes and the skate rentals, and the celebratory retail, food and drink offerings that include Just Fries, Harborside Mercantile, The Flaming Fish Food Truck, Buffalo’s Best Catering, Taste of Puerto Rico, Duke’s Donuts and Canalside’s Winter Café, there are a lot more reasons to attend this annual celebratory event.
Bring your friends and family to the Annual Holiday Celebration event at The Ice at Canalside. The festivities take place on Friday, December 4, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. The free event includes children’s activities, holiday music, Dickens Carolers, a holiday tree lighting, visits from Santa Claus, and dance performances.
Enjoy the radiant outdoor atmosphere, or step inside to enjoy food and drink options that include Liberty Hound, 716 Food and Sport, Panorama on Seven, and a host of new destinations in and around the Cobblestone District.
Come and enjoy all the fun, at Canalside’s 5th Annual Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting!
Open ice skating will be ongoing until 10:00 pm! The cost is $6 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 6-12, and free for 5 and under. Skate rentals: $4. Get a $1 discount on admission by bringing a non-perishable item that will be donated to the Food Bank of WNY.
