In collaboration and sponsorship from St. Joseph University Parish, Valu Home Centers, and PUSH Green, The University Heights Community Laboratory (CoLab) will be the host to a series of free public workshops focused on providing DIY tips and techniques for weatherproofing your home for the cold, winter months to reduce energy loss and help lower your utility bill. Experts from both organizations will be holding hands-on demonstrations on topics such as locating sources of drafts, installing insulation and window covers, caulking baseboards and gaps, and more! A Q&A session will follow each workshop to give participants a chance to ask questions to the experts on hand.
