For those people who have been watching the burgeoning medical industry rise up around us, and wondered, “How do I get to be a part of this economic boon?”, there is now an inroad that you should know about. On Thursday, October 22, from noon to 1pm, professionals in the medical community will be hosting a lunch seminar at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, to inform potential workers of the jobs and the benefits that are available to those who are looking for medical careers.
The seminar is being hosted by Bryant & Stratton College. Participants will enjoy a free lunch along with a guest panel that includes business professionals from Catholic Health, Kaleida Health, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Windsong Radiology. Those seeking professions that include medical administrative assistants, medical assistants, or medical coding and reimbursement, should consider attending the “Lunch & Learn” event.
“There is so much opportunity in the healthcare field in Buffalo,” explains Jeff Tredo, Director of New York State Campuses for Bryant & Stratton College. “In response to the strong interest in this in-demand career area, we have assembled this panel discussion to shine a spotlight on the various professions that exist. Our first session in WNY was in April where we had a distinguished panel of healthcare professionals, it was so popular that we are pleased to be bringing it back to the Blue Cross/Blue Shield campus.”
