This evening I spent some time watching a few of the Buffalo International Film Festival trailers that are the precursor to what’s to play out in coming days. Over the next few days I will be presenting a few of the trailers here, for you to check out. I found the following selection called Prescient interesting, not only because of the plot line, but also because the movie is shot all over Buffalo – from Parker Pharmacy on Hertel to the Blue Sky Mausoleum in Forest Lawn. It just goes to show how much this city has to offer when shooting a film, because the settings looked incredible! Even the trailer, which is a mere two minutes in length, is packed with stunning Buffalo imagery. See how many Buffalo places you can spot.
After inadvertently causing his lover’s death, a guilt-ridden geneticist (Michael Piccirilli) begins an obsessive hunt for the gene that triggers his previsions of impending deaths in this smart, innovative sci-fi drama filmed in Buffalo’s medical corridor.
If you can’t want to see some more previews, here is a link to the playlist – BIFF October 15-18, 2015.
