The fifth Startup Weekend Buffalo is set for October 23-25, 2015 to once again bring together local entrepreneurs, developers, designers and startup enthusiasts with business mentors and resources to build a business within a collaborative three-day period. Hosted at D!G on the Buffalo Medical Campus, the event is part of a weeklong celebration of events and festivities for all-things startups and entrepreneurialism during the second annual 43North Week.
Registration for Startup Weekend Buffalo begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 23 and at 7:30 p.m., the real magic happens when participants will begin pitching their ideas for a business open mic style to recruit members for their team. From there, teams will form and have the next two days to design, develop and brand their business to prepare for live judging and demonstrations starting on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m.
The weekend concludes with an awards ceremony starting at 5:00 p.m. where the top three teams will be awarded prizes with a total combined value of more than $5,000 to help launch their businesses.
