Sometimes the thought of trick ‘r treating in the neighborhood is a daunting task. Not every neighborhood is safe when it comes to crossing streets and getting about in a safe and collected manner. That’s why some parents decide to take advantage of the Halloween events that are hosted by various commercial districts. The events allow moms and dads to take their kids around from store to store, in an easy-to-navigate and fun strolling manner. Plus, the event takes place during the day!
On Saturday, October 31, from 11am to 1pm, Hertel Avenue is sponsoring Halloween on Hertel. Upwards of 20 shops and restaurants will be handing out treats for the youngsters. This is a fun way for families to get together and explore the retail offerings on the street. It’s also nice to know that there will be a lot of other trick ‘r treaters out there, adding to the overall seasonal celebratory experience.
To add to the fun, there will be some surprise costumed guests including the crew from Buffalo Ghost Busters! The movie Ghostbusters is showing at the North Park Theatre on that day – see event on Facebook.
