The Pop-In on Grant Street is hosting a week-long set of yoga classes, which is intended to bring the art of yoga street-side. Per usual, the creative space is lending itself out to those who are bent on making a difference in the art, health and creative landscape of this city. The Yoga Week classes start today and end on Friday.
“Heather Wilson (yoga instructor) is a friend/neighbor of Jeanenne Petri,” says Jason Clement, co-owner of The Pop-In, located at 218 Grant Street. “She has been wanting to do more experimental classes of her own on the West Side, so Jeanenne connected us and we came up with the offerings/themes. Heather rallied the other two teachers – Megan Callahan and Kristin Damstetter. We’re testing it out this week and will hopefully start doing a weekly class or two.”
Following are all of the details:
9/21 – Meditation Monday
9/22 – Hometown Tuesday
9/23 – Work It! Wednesday
9/24 – Throwback Thursday
9/25 – Fun Flow Friday
Each of these donation-based classes will start at 6:00 PM and run for approximately one hour. Space is limited, so please send a quick message on Facebook or at thebuffalopopin@gmail.com to let the instructors know which days you would like to join.
