It’s a banner weekend for room – a luxury furniture boutique and home store for michael P. design located on Hertel Avenue. The design and décor emporium will be hosting a live viewing party on Saturday night to celebrate co-owner Michael (“Michael P.”) Poczkalski’s feature as lead designer on HGTV’s national House Hunters Renovation program. The celebration will feature notable guests including Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown – who will be delivering a proclamation to the store for being in business 10 years this month – and other Western New York designers who’ve previously appeared on HGTV House Hunters Renovation programs.
Earlier in the day, room will be hosting a cocktails and cupcakes open house – its latest August series event – to commemorate 10 years bringing modern luxury and high quality design to Western New York. Guests will receive exclusive discounts as a part of the celebration, and DJ Projex will be spinning live throughout the afternoon.
All festivities will take place at room’s 1400 Hertel Avenue flagship store — with the cocktails + cupcakes event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and evening viewing party kicking off at 8 p.m. Live HGTV screening airs at 10 p.m. For more details on tonight’s party (Saturday, August 22, 2015), visit room’s Facebook event page.
