This afternoon my father spotted a beautiful Pierce Arrow automobile waiting for a light at the corner of Summer and Elmwood. The car reminded me that on Saturday, July 24, upwards of 75 Pierce Arrows will be convening at the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum for the 25th Annual Pierce Arrow Society National Meet.
In order to get things started, as many as twenty of the cars showed up today, to parade in front of the Darwin D. Martin House. It was a beautiful sight, strolling around and admiring all of the cars. It was especially neat to see the classic cars lined up in front of houses that were of the same era.
Tell all of your car nut friends to take a trip down the the Transportation Museum, to see these babies, and a lot more, in all of their glory. And pay a visit to the Frank Lloyd Wright Filling Station while you’re there.
