For the first time, Buffalo will be part of the World Naked Bike Ride. The ride was established to drive attention to the world’s addiction to “cars, aggression, consumerism, and non-renewable energy.”
The lighthearted affair takes on real importance as cyclists (and skaters?) shed their clothing to make a point that less is more. If drivers are made more aware of cyclists… if consumers are made more aware of waste… if people stop for a few minutes to think about the things that are truly important in their lives… then World Naked Bike Ride has done its job by daring to bare.
The organizers of Jaunt Quest and Buffalo Bike Party, now proudly bring you Buffalo World Bike Ride 2015. Riders are welcome to strip down for a worthy cause on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 7pm. Location TBD – stay tuned to Facebook (new page launched today).
