Buffalo Greek Fest is a wonderful family friendly festival that features Greek food, music, dance and all around culture. The event takes place on the grounds of the historic Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, which is a stone’s throw to many of the Greek restaurants that line Elmwood Avenue.
In a city, where Greek food is one of the main culinary staples, this celebration garners a lot of attention from people throughout the region. Beyond the food, there are many other culturally significant reasons to attend this joyous and fun-filled occasion, including Greek folk dancing, church tours, a Greek coffee shop, lecture series, and a market place.
For 37 years, Greek Fest has been running strong. Come see what is so special about this unique Buffalo festival that takes place during the course of three days each year.
