When it comes to the arts, sometime we have to mix things up just a bit, so as to not get caught in the same old ruts. Not to say that there is anything wrong with the traditional gallery or live music setting, but sometimes an artist or a musician would rather disengage from the standard performance venues in order to engage a different listenership or viewership. Music and art can happen anywhere, so why not make it happen everywhere?
On July 2, 2o15, the Anti-Venue Tour will be hosted in Buffalo, at myriad places throughout the city. The interesting part of this tour, presented by Haute La Vie, is that the “places” will not be announced until the day of the event. All that is really known is that the original music and art will be showcased at unconventional venues that could include houses, garages, studios… wherever inspiration strikes.
“…to create a personal relationship between the music that define our culture and the communities that support it. Our goal is bring equality to the world through creative output, join the journey!”- Haute La Vie
