On Tuesday, June 30th at 7pm, Allen Burger Venture (ABV) invites you to come taste the distilled spirits from three of Buffalo’s newest distilleries. Actually, all of this city’s distilleries are considered new, since there has been nothing produced in this industry (locally) for nearly 100 years.
Incredibly, it seems as if every couple of months a new player is unleashed unto the Buffalo distilled landscape. Now ABV wants to share with you, three of the makers who are currently in production – Black Squirrel Distillery, the BFLO Distilling Co., and Lockhouse Distillery. Guests will be able to talk to the distillers and sample some of the products. There will also be specialty cocktails, food and music at the free event.
“Much like the brewery movement before us, the local distillery renaissance is all about community,” said Lockhouse Distillery manager Cory Muscato. “We’re thrilled to get together with our brethren to show people that top shelf spirits can come from right around the corner.”
