Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s 142,000 sq. ft. Clinical Sciences Center is just about complete. The striking addition is being built adjacent to Roswell Park’s Main Hospital at the northwest corner of Carlton Street and Michigan Avenue. It is at the eastern edge of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and overlooks the Fruit Belt neighborhood.
Joined with the adjacent main hospital building via connecting bridges, the RPCI Clinical Sciences Center will feature many expansion highlights including:
• Breast Center
• New Mammography Center
• New Chemo-Infusion Clinic
• Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic
• Patient Education and Survivorship Programs to reach patients, caregivers, and family members
• State-of-the-art office facilities and space for clinician-scientists to analyze data from clinical studies
FXFOWLE Architects of New York City designed the project that features custom terra cotta panels and louvers on its façade from Boston Valley Terra Cotta.
