If there’s one street in Buffalo that could use a good cleanup, it’s Grant Street. While Grant Street continues to grow as an International Market Place, it’s important that the street is maintained accordingly. The epicenter of the litter appears to be coming from the corner of Breckenridge and Grant, and then spreads outward, which is nothing new. The corner of Grant and Ferry is usually a mess as well.
On April 12, 2105, the community is coming together to tackle the overabundance of litter that has accumulated throughout the winter, along Grant and Ferry. The clean-up crews will be meeting at Lorigo’s Meating Place at 300 Auburn Avenue, Grant-Auburn intersection on Sunday, April 12 at 1pm.
Participants are asked to bring brooms, shovels, rakes, etc. – it’s time to get the street back into ship-shape order by donated a little spare elbow grease to this worthy cause.
