When it comes to architectural diversity, the Parkside neighborhood is comprised of variations that include American Four Square, Victorian, Colonial Revival and Craftsman. There are even Arts & Crafts bungalows dotting myriad streets that parallel Delaware Park.
On Sunday, May 17th, 2015, the Parkside Community Association will be hosting the 17th Annual Tour of Homes, an event that allows the rest of Buffalo to get up close and personal with this tight-knit neighborhood.
The same way that Garden Walk allows people to roam the city in search of alluring front and backyards, the Tour of Homes offers architecture and history enthusiasts a chance to immerse themselves in a building period that predominantly extends from 1880 thru 1930.
The Parkside Community Association presents the 17th Annual Tour of Homes on Sunday, May 17th from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm. The Arts & Craft home in the Fall 2014 American Bungalow magazine will be featured on the tour. Tickets are $15 in advance for PCA members and $20 in advance for non-members.
