On March 7, 2015, the West Side Bazaar (WSB) will be spotlighting a few special women in our community as part of International Women’s Day. The event will incorporate the talents of Latin Dance, song, henna tattoo and even the art of wearing a sari (traditional garb of a South Asian female – lead image).
Hand it to the WSB to open our eyes to the vast and diverse cultural traits demonstrated by the various ethnic groups that call the West Side “home”. Through food, dress and the arts (among others), cultural doors continue to open in all directions. Following is part of the scheduling set to commence on that day.
