Where does the troupe perform?
We present a full-length original dance production for the Buffalo Infringement Festival every year (we won two “Iffy” awards last year; that was very exciting for us). We’ve performed at the Karpeles Manuscript Library, Big Orbit Gallery, Wasteland Studio, Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar, Manor Lanes, at the Seneca Niagara Casino with nationally renowned pop group “NY Minute”, and at Buffalo’s ICP Imperial Masquerade Ball.
We are looking forward to upcoming performances at the Gypsy Parlor (see promotional flyer below), Cirque de Lune (April 25th at the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center), ELAB’S City of Night (in Buffalo’s Old First Ward this July), ModDance Studio’s annual dance concert at West Hertel Academy, the Buffalo Infringement Festival, and hopefully other events and festivals this year. We are always seeking new performance opportunities in Western New York!
What is your personal goal for the company?
Our main goal is to create original, dance-focused, theatrical performance art. We want to explore many different types of venues and for our work to be presented to diverse audiences. The three directors are passionate about maintaining a positive environment within the company to foster creativity and collectiveness. We incorporate dancers of various backgrounds, levels, and experiences.
What is the live music aspect?
We often incorporate live musicians and vocalists in an effort to bridge the gap between professional dance and musical theater.
