There’s a new short and long distance running organization launching this Saturday that is considered “a unique, customized training program” for runners looking for a specific training regimen throughout the year in Downtown Buffalo.
Next Level Running was founded by Melina Buck, who will be operating her training program out of Impact Sports Performance at HarborCenter (see Facebook).
Melina’s past experience includes coaching runners at Fleet Feet (since 2011), and training runners for 5k, 8k, 10k, half marathon, 30k, and marathon distances. She is studied in the fields of Track and Field, and Sports Psychology. An avid runner herself, Melina has run in countless races, including nine marathons completed (5 NYC marathons; 2 Boston Marathons; 1 Manchester Marathon; 1 Marine Corps Marathon). Melina also spent eight seasons coaching Girls on the Run and is a five-time Buddy Runner at Girls on the Run 5k.
Not only does Melina live and work in Downtown Buffalo, she’s a big Buffalo booster and is looking to rally runners who want to stay in good running shape and also compete. To her, the program that she has designed is all about “getting out and enjoying Buffalo’s renaissance while getting fit!”
