Come on down to RiverWorks this Saturday between 2pm and 10pm. Aside from a multitude of performances, there will also be a ton of side activities. From ice carving to live works of art and luau photo ops, RiverWorks is set to come alive with the sounds of summer.
The 21+ event is easy to get to. Just take Michigan Avenue towards the waterfront. Cross the Michigan Bridge (at General Mills), and hang a left. RiverWorks is on the left shortly thereafter (parking map below).
Come for the Queen City Roller Girls bout and stay for the capoeira performance. Grab some shish kabob and wash it down with a sangria. Come meet the gang from Buffalo Bubble Soccer and try on one of their contraptions. Listen to the sounds of summer in a brand new, giant, heated complex.
You can read about the details in this Buffalo Rising post. There is a coat check available, and RiverWorks has incorporated 800 additional parking spots into the mix, making it easier to park (for $5).
The day kicks off with the Ice Man 2-Miler (see here).
Come meet your friends for a couple of drinks and some inspirational live music vibrations.
