Singer/songwriter Rob Ralgiano is hosting a new songwriters series at The Daily Planet Coffee Company (see here). Falgiano is currently calling upon acoustic music acts to join together at what he is branding The Living Room. According to Falgiano, the owners of the coffee shop want to help promote the local music scene, and together they are working towards filling the “spacious and cozy” café with the acoustic sounds of original music.
I can see this music series having some real legs. The space is perfect for this sort of artistic gathering, and for those who want to relax, get some work done, and enjoy some inspirational sounds, each table has a WiFi port to plug into.
The Living Room will come alive the second and fourth Thursday of every month, “with a different special guest each time.” Falgiano expects that the musicians will form a bond of sorts, along with the crowd, which will turn the evenings into a tight-knit North Buffalo acoustic music showcase. Young, emerging writers are encouraged to attend the series in hopes of playing future gigs.
