This year the Buffalo Auto Show is planning on presenting a number of “fan-tastic” surprises, including guest appearances from a famed Buffalo Bills alumni, a few Buffalo Bandits hotshots (and members of the Bandettes of course), along with two of the Sabres notable aces.
While the local sports celebrities will certainly create a buzz at the show, there are some auto fans who are also looking forward to catching a glimpse of the eight foot tall, comedic Hollywood Robot, “King Robota”. King Robota is known as “the first singing, dancing, and impersonation robot show in the world.”
The robot is also a great addition to the auto show due to the family-friendly nature of the event. While the moms and dads are looking at the cars, the kids will be talking about the opportunity to meet the eight foot robot. As it stands, it looks as if King Robota will make appearances on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the show. Be sure to check out the Buffalo Auto Show’s website for all of the details.
Following is the rest of the celebrity line-up, and the respective days and times:
Buffalo Bandits Ryan Benesch, Dhane Smith and Brandon Goodwin, along with some members of the Buffalo Bandettes, will visit the Buffalo Auto Show from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, for a free autograph session. Benesch and Smith are among the team’s leading scorers this year, while Goodwin is playing in his first NLL season.
Two of the Buffalo Sabres talented youngsters, Zemgus Girgensons and Rasmus Ristolainen, will take part in a free autograph session from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6. Girgensons will be fresh off his first NHL All Star Game appearance, while Ristolainen is a defensive star in the making!
On Saturday, Feb. 7, meet Buffalo Bills greats Darryl Talley and Cornelius Bennett from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Autographs will start at $20. Talley and Bennett both played linebacker for the Buffalo Bills and were a big part of the legendary squad that played in four consecutive Super Bowls!
The Buffalo Auto Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 5-7, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 8.
