In this day and age you can either go online and order your own t-shirts and have someone else do the printing for you, or you can learn how to create your own hand-printed t-shirts with the help of Western New York Book Arts Center (WNYBAC). One might be faster and easier, but the other is certainly more gratifying.
During the course of the year WNYBAC hosts a series of screen printing sessions, aimed at providing the public with the ability to learn the art of hand printing designs on various fabrics.
On February 5, 2015, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, instructor Nathan Deganis-Librera will show participants just what goes into the process of printing pre-burned screens on their own t-shirts, tea towels, pillow cases, tote bags, etc. (be sure to bring up to six pieces with you). For questions regarding the screenprinted sessions, email rosemary@wnybookarts.org.
