Scrabble®Fest is back! This time the event is coming to Larkinville for a “Ten Year Celebration”. This event is hosted annually by Literacy New York Buffalo-Niagara (LNYBN), with the intention of spreading awareness for literacy needs in our community. The kick-off event for Scrabble®Fest will be held at The Filling Station at Larkin Square on Wednesday, January 14th, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm. Guests are asked for a $20 donation that will be allocated to fighting illiteracy in Greater Buffalo.
After the kick-off, a region-wide tournament will commence at the homes of people who love the game and want to help raise money and awareness for a worthy cause.
The winner from each household match will go on to the Scrabble®Fest Finals, scheduled to be held at the Buffalo Central Library on Thursday, March 26th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Spread the WORD!
